We encourage maximum input and involvement from clients to provide a thorough understanding of the project direction from preliminary meetings through completed construction.

The office of Lauchlin R. Bethune Associates, Inc. ASLA, was established to provide clients with innovative design concepts that serve their program needs and create value in their landscape built environment. The client receives maximum input and involvement in their project through a series of checks and balances. This assures an informed client with a thorough understanding of the project direction from the preliminary schematic design to the final construction inspection.

The on-site Design Charette process is for smaller gardens and involves an interactive design process with the Owner at the site and at the kitchen table, resulting in a design with a quick turnaround and low upfront cost.
The traditional design process involves developing a design program, measuring the site to create a site plan to scale, developing a schematic master plan and preparation of a preliminary cost estimate.
Master Planning services include urban and suburban office parks, industrial and mixed-use complexes, schools & institutions, parks & playfields, greenbelt enhancement, and wetland mitigation.  Lauchlin Bethune’s extensive experience on project teams is an asset to any project and his master planning skills capture the elements of the project and transforms the components of a project into a comprehensive design.
